Peter is another sculptor that had a profound impact on my trajectory as a flameworker. Peter captures his subject matter in a way that makes it hard to believe that all those stiches, patches and rips are actually made out of glass.
The limitless nature of glass to appear as something it isn't has always appealed to me. In this way our styles really compliment each other, and I dig how the cloudscape is reminiscent of stuffing falling from the doll's torn sections.
It was a pleasure getting one in with my former shopmate and good friend, and even better getting to see ya in Philly g!
