Cloudbringer Hammer 1

If you know me, you know Im a fan of smaller pipes. I prefer less volume for a smoother hit, a bowl pack thats good for 2-3 hits max as to preserve flavor, and a size that can fit in my pocket and come along for any adventure. Gotta say, I checked all the boxes off on this one. While hammers were a huge part of how I got started on shaping more complex hollow work, I dont often make them. A large source of the inspiration for this body of work was revisiting nostalgic concepts from when I started out as a glassblower. As a result I thought it would be fitting to include an updated and maxed out hammer design for my showcase “Roots”. After scaling down the pipe’s size to my ideal dimensions, I decided to spare no detail on the carvings. The can features the whimsical clouds I’ve been flowing on lately, and I even was able to fit a new variant of the Asanoha on the stem. Overall, I am really happy with how this first rendition in the series came out.

Sold in to a private collection during my showcase “Roots” @justanothergallery
